History Dispatches is a daily history show hosted by father and son duo Matt and McKinley Breen. The show covers people, places, events and even objects from throughout history. While any topic is fair game, Matt and McKinley hold a soft spot for the offbeat and wacky stories that most people don’t know about.
About the Team
Matt Breen is a long time podcaster. His show, the Explorers Podcast, is one of the most successful podcasts about exploration and adventure. A self professed history nerd, Matt has a history degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
McKinley Breen is a history lover with an undergraduate degree in classical history, and a graduate degree in library and information science. He also served six years in the United States Marine Corps. He currently resides just outside of Madison, Wisconsin.
Ross Arbour is the editor and extra idea guy for History Dispatches. Ross has worked as an editor and writer for the Explorers Podcast. He worked for Canadian television news for more than a decade, is passionate about history, space exploration and hockey (go Leafs!).
